Sometimes, old recordings of the Bis catalogue are used in the Sibelius Edition, and I think that there were some items that don't fit quite right in the main philosophy ...

Probably the performers don't play that part.

There is another recording of these pieces for brass:
Finnish Brass Ensemble, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Alba label (1994), but I haven't this CD.
