On April 27th 2007, the West-bohemian Symphony Orchestra (Zapadocesky Symfonicky Orchestr) performed a special concert commemorating the year 2007, the 50th anniversary of Sibelius' death.

The program was:

Romance for strings
Symphony No. 7

Intermission

Violin Concerto

...with our concertmaster Fumihito Terada playing solo.

The concert was supported by the Finnish Embassy in Prague and took place under the patronage of His Excellency Ambassador Jorma Inki. The Deputy of the mission, Frank Hellsten, was in attendance as well.

Aww....I wished I could have gone to that special concert!.....*Cries* ....if I had the money, I would have flown across the globe to watch that...Oh well..I can dream, can't I?
....Anyway...I was wondering if you got that concert "recorded" on CD? (Then maybe it could have been sold to benefit the orchestra or something...)..never mind..that seems like a crazy idea, haha!

BTW...that picture of you...It's a nice picture...I see the "looks" of a conductor..I just hope you didn't have too much trouble with the Photographer at that time...("Too much Light!...We need more flash!....This background color is killing us!)..Forgive me Kurki! hehe....
