Sibelius and Nielsen arrange to meet at a bar one day.

They arrive, greet each other with a nod and proceed to down several rounds of vodka.

After about an hour of this, Nielsen asks Sibelius: So, what have you written lately?

Sibelius ponders the question for a while, but decides to order several more rounds of vodka instead of answering. After another hour of drinking, Sibelius turns to Nielsen and replies:

Did we come here to drink or did we come here to talk?

I recently retold this joke to a few musicians. They didn't laugh. A sad day it is.
