The round trip ticket to Finland I purchases was a little over $1,200. I could have gone about $300 cheaper, but some of the flight times were insane with all of the stop-overs...some up to 35 hours! Definitely not worth $300!

The hotel in Lahti is at a decent price (about $100 per night), but I will only be staying there 3 nights. I have a friend in Helsinki I will be staying with (for free, of course) the rest of my time there.

I also intend on visiting Ainola. I'm sure once I'm there, I will feel emotions that I have never felt before.
