This is a common feature in other forums, so why not here, as well?
I actually know what two of our members look like already (Andrew B, Kurkikohtaus), but I'd have to admit it would be great to put a face with some of the other members here.
So, if you have a photo, I encourage you to post it, and I will do the same here:

This ws taken at a Japanese Garden in San Diego. Ok, so I like Japanese gardens...and composers!
I did post a picture of myself in another thread in bagpiper regalia, but I only look like that part of the time! _________________ "Music is not philosophy."

A nice idea... no obligations here for anyone, but if you want to, paste away!

You are so young, Violist!
I believe you are 16, yes?
You come off as much older in the forum. You are unusually astute and well-spoken for a person on your age. That is a good thing!
I think I must have been 16 when I first got into Sibelius and classical music in general. Maybe 15? I'm not quite sure.
So, as they say in Australia, good on ya!
And Kurki looks great in a tux... _________________ "Music is not philosophy."

Indeed, Kurki has quite the image in concert regalia.
Yes, I am 16, and I feel rather like I'm where I should be as far as well-spokenness goes... and yes, I like to play with words.
I became rather enamored of poetry some time last year, and I was reading writing it constantly. So I suppose it stands to reason that I'd appear so well-read. In person I'm a lot more awkward, if that makes me seem more teenagerly. |

Very cool Andrew! It's great to see a pre-eminent Sibelian such as yourself working to promote the cause.
